The Reviews
At Agent Scoreboard, we ask your clients only three questions:
- How was your Overall Experience with your Realtor (Positive / Negative / Neutral)
- Why was your experience? (Positive / Negative / Neutral)
- Would you recommend this Realtor to a friend?
When we began working on Agent Scoreboard we started with a 10-question survey. We gave that survey to a group of people that had just heard a presentation by an agent and we asked them to judge that agent on his Professionalism, Knowledge, Integrity and their satisfaction with his presentation. We then compiled the results and we were astonished to find that in just a 10 minute presentation, his scores for Professionalism and Knowledge swung wildly from low to high. However, most were consistently satisfied with his presentation. What was clear from this exercise was that the first three criteria were meaningless, since there was no consistency, but the satisfaction level of the participants was clear and almost unanimous. No, this wasn’t a scientific focus group, just our staff trying to understand how people perceive others, but the point was clear.
Individual perceptions are subjective and don’t translate well from the surveyed to the reader, but your level of satisfaction does. This is why eBay the largest marketplace in the world only asks “Rate Your Overall Experience”. They know all their transactions are unique and have complexities that transcend any common experience. Your level of satisfaction is all that matters.
The Feedback Process
Leaving feedback about your favorite local taco place is easy for anyone to understand, either the tacos were good, or they weren’t. That transaction really isn’t that complex. However, real estate transactions are an order of magnitude more complicated. Sometimes individual frustrations can evolve out of a misunderstanding in the transaction process, and many times homeowners don’t want to point out flaws directly to their agent during a transaction for fear of losing the deal that’s already in escrow.Agent Scoreboard understands how real estate transactions work, we know sometimes communications can get tense, and over the course of a long transaction, frustrations can build. We’ve built some tools into Agent Scoreboard to help you win back that client and turn them into your biggest cheerleader.
- Cooling-Off Period – You’ll be alerted, via email, when any feedback is received, and you’ll have an opportunity to preview the feedback before it affects your score. This gives you an opportunity to contact your client and discuss that feedback and potential rescue the relationship.
- NO Anonymous Feedback – Agent Scoreboard doesn’t accept anonymous feedback, EVER. You’ll always see the email address and name of the individual leaving you feedback.
- Profanity Filter – Our systems automatically screens feedback for profane language. We don’t allow the posting of obscene or profane comments.
- Dispute Resolution – Did you get a review from someone you don’t know or don’t recognize? Agent Scoreboard allows you to request confirmation of that review by the reviewer before it gets posted. If we can’t confirm that feedback it’s posted to your profile as a comment, but it does not affect your points total or your feedback percentage.
Successful systems allow people to review facts and comments and make up their own minds about who they want to represent them in their property transaction. Using Agent Scoreboard allows you to present the facts of your professional career and the feedback you’ve received from your clients, both good and bad, your honesty and integrity will show through and Agent Scoreboard will generate hundreds more happy clients.
